Irrigation Installation & Design
New systems and surgical fixes to old ones. We aim for coverage you can feel walking through it.
Most of the irrigation we touch in Coronado is at least 20 years old. The pipe is fine; the heads are tired, the controller is from a different era, and the layout assumes lawn where there isn't lawn anymore. We tune what's worth keeping and replace what isn't.
What we do
- New systems for new installs (zones designed around the planting plan)
- Drip conversion — spray-to-drip on existing zones, big water savings
- Leak detection on the line side, valve repair, head replacement
- Smart controller upgrades (Hydrawise, Rachio, Hunter — whatever fits)
- Annual irrigation tune (zone-by-zone walk in spring and fall)
Common Questions
Irrigation Installation & Design — FAQ
My water bill jumped — can you find the leak?
Usually, yes. Most jumps are valve diaphragm leaks or a broken lateral. We'll pressure-test the system and isolate it.
Do I need a smart controller?
If you're on monthly maintenance with us, the controller is less important — we adjust manually. If we're not visiting weekly, a smart controller pays for itself in saved water in 12–18 months.
